THE WHITE SPACE
The magic starts here in a bright, airy space bathed in calming natural light. It’s where you will breeze down the aisle, say those special words and sit down for an all-out wedding breakfast with your favourite people in the world.
THE BAR & GARDEN
Propose. Plan. Party. That’s what it’s all about. And you know we throw a good party. The Bar is all about high energy and late-night fun, with a 70ft copper bar, DJ booth, and a dance floor that keeps the party rolling. And when you need a break, step into The Garden for a bit of fresh air, a late-night chat, or champagne under the stars.
THE LOUNGE
The Lounge is a compact and bijou space off the main bar, ready to be transformed however you want. From hosting cosy cocktail receptions to naughty after-parties, chillout zones to full-blown casino fun, it’s another way to make a memorable impact.
CREATIVE SPACES
Get ready in style or slip off from the hustle for a moment of calm. Our Creative Spaces are just the answer whether the bridesmaids are in need of a final touch-up, Granny needs somewhere calm to recharge or the newlyweds want a private moment before busting out more moves.
Four distinct spaces, all designed to turn heads—from toasts in the stylish Lounge to all-night moves in The Bar and belly laughs under the night sky in The Garden. Whether it’s a dinner for 170 of your favourites or taking the night into full party mode with 300 friends, there’s no better place to make your wedding stand out.
Is The Ministry licensed for a ceremony?
Yes. Our wedding license covers the entire ground floor of our venue, excluding the outdoor spaces. Tough luck for al-fresco I doers.
Are children allowed in the venue?
Yes. Families and young guests are welcome. We just ask that you kindly keep an eye on your offspring. Unless your child is 216 months old, then they can join us at the bar solo.
Is there a minimum spend on food and drinks?
Depends on the package you’ve picked for your big day. Have a chat with your sales rep for the lowdown on all things F&B.
Can I use my own supplier?
We’ve got a list of suppliers that we highly recommend, but if you’ve got your own dream team in mind, feel free to bring them along. Just a heads-up: a buy-out fee will apply if you’re bringing your own caterer.
Is the venue dog-friendly?
Yes. We are proudly dog friendly. So long as they behave better than your drunk uncle.
Is the venue fully accessible?
Yes. Our venue is fully accessible, with the exception of The Garden, and accessible toilets are located throughout. We want everyone to have a good time. Non-negotiable.
Are there any music curfews?
We love a good party, but the tunes have to wind down 15 minutes before the end of your event’s licensed hours. Sadly, that’s set in stone—no encores, no exceptions.
What is the earliest time we can set up from?
Our usual load-in hours are 8am to 8pm. Need to get the party started earlier? Just have a word with your sales rep, and we’ll see what we can do.
