FAQ
WEDDINGS
Is The Ministry licensed for a ceremony?
Yes. Our wedding license covers the entire ground floor of our venue, excluding the outdoor spaces. Tough luck for al-fresco I doers.
Is the venue dog-friendly?
Yes. We are proudly dog friendly. So long as they behave better than your drunk uncle.
Are children allowed in the venue?
Yes. Families and young guests are welcome. We just ask that you kindly keep an eye on your offspring. Unless your child is 216 months old, then they can join us at the bar solo.
Can I use my own chosen suppliers?
We’ve got a list of suppliers that we highly recommend, but if you’ve got your own dream team in mind, feel free to bring them along. Just a heads-up: a buy-out fee will apply if you’re bringing your own caterer.
Is the venue fully accessible?
Yes. Our venue is fully accessible, with the exception of The Garden, and accessible toilets are located throughout. We want everyone to have a good time. Non-negotiable.
Our full accessibility policy is available on request.
Are there any restrictions on the times music can be played?
We love a good party, but the tunes have to wind down 15 minutes before the end of your event’s licensed hours. Sadly, that’s set in stone—no encores, no exceptions.
Is there a minimum spend on food and drinks?
Depends on the package you’ve picked for your big day. Have a chat with your sales rep for the lowdown on all things F&B.
What is the earliest time we can set up from?
Our usual load-in hours are 8am to 8pm. Need to get the party started earlier? Just have a word with your sales rep, and we’ll see what we can do.
What are your payment terms?
Here’s how it works:
20% within 14 days of signing the contract to lock in your date.
40% six months before your event.
The final 40% is due three months before you say “I do.”
Do you require a security deposit?
Yep! We ask for a 10% security deposit three months before your event, just to make sure everything stays smooth sailing.
